The driver picks you up from your hotel, residence or station anywhere within Nashik city limits and sets off for Trimbak, about 30 km west on a good ghat road.
Roughly two hours at the tenth Jyotirlinga. Early arrival means a shorter queue in the free darshan line. The Kushavarta Kund, the source of the Godavari, is a short walk from the temple.
A relaxed drive back into Nashik with the Brahmagiri range behind you. Tea and breakfast stops on the Trimbak road are easy to arrange with the driver.
Kalaram Temple with its black stone idol of Rama, the narrow Sita Gufa alongside it, the Ramkund bathing ghat on the Godavari, and Kapaleshwar Mahadev — the only Shiva temple without a Nandi in front of it.
A white Makrana marble complex housing replicas of all twelve Jyotirlingas and the Bhagavad Gita carved onto its walls. It sits close to Nashik Road, which puts you on the right side of the city for the Shirdi highway.
A break for lunch at a highway dhaba or restaurant of your choice, then the run to Shirdi via Sinnar — around 85 km and a little under three hours including the break.
Drop at the Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir gate or at your Shirdi hotel. The trip ends here and the driver returns to Nashik.
