Why TripSaffron for pooja bookings

Rival marketplaces show you a price and hope you don't ask what's inside. We show you the whole pooja — cultural belief, procedure, samagri, and impact.

  • Every pooja spelled out — procedure steps, samagri list, cultural context
  • Verified pujari network — reviewed after every pooja, delisted on bad ratings
  • Two-price transparency — pujari only vs pujari + samagri, no hidden bundling

How TripSaffron pooja bookings work

1
Pick the temple + pooja

Browse by temple or city, pick a pooja, and see the "pooja only" vs "pooja + samagri (bundled kit)" price side-by-side.

2
Pick your pujari

Every pooja shows the list of pujaris registered at that temple with their name, experience, and rate. You pick who performs your pooja — not us.

3
Pay full advance, get muhurat

Pooja is a fixed-date service; full advance is standard. We confirm the muhurat, share the pujari's WhatsApp, and send the samagri list.

Common questions

How is TripSaffron different from Yatradham for pooja bookings?

Two differences: TripSaffron shows the pujari's real name and profile before you book (rival marketplaces are anonymous), and pricing is direct-to-pujari — no bundled 20-30% markup. The pujari sets their own rate; TripSaffron takes a transparent booking fee visible at checkout.

What poojas can I book on TripSaffron?

Rudra Abhishek, Mahamrityunjaya Jaap, Kaal Sarp Dosh Nivaran, Narayan Nagbali (3-day), Tripindi Shraddha, Pitra Dosh Nivaran, Satyanarayan Katha, Ganpati Pooja, and other pandit-led rituals. The catalog grows as more pujaris onboard for their specialty temples.

Why does the price show two amounts?

Every pooja has a "Pooja only" price (dakshina + the pujari's time) and a "Pooja + Samagri" price (bundled kit of everything used in the ritual — flowers, ghee, kalash, coconut etc.). You pick which one you want. Rival marketplaces bundle silently; we split so you see what you're paying for.

Do I need to pay in full upfront?

Yes. Pooja is a fixed-date service performed at a specific temple; unlike a hotel stay, cancellation risk is higher. Full advance is standard across the industry. Refund windows are set per pujari — typically 72 hours before muhurat.

When will TripSaffron cover my temple / city?

We're onboarding pujaris city-by-city, temple-by-temple. Trimbakeshwar (Nashik) is the pilot; new cities light up as we verify pujaris in person. Tap WhatsApp on any page and tell us which temple you want us to cover next — we prioritise by demand.

Is the pujari really "verified"?

Yes. Every pujari we list is a real, named individual whose temple registration + ID are checked before they go live. You see their name, temple, years of service, and photo. Not an anonymous marketplace.
