Everything was well planned
Leave before dawn, darshan through the morning, home to Pune by evening.
Car stays with you for the whole trip and drops you back
This plan can be changed to suit your timings.
Pickup from your address anywhere in Pune city. A pre-dawn start is what makes this a comfortable day trip rather than a rushed one — the roads are empty and you reach Shirdi while the queue is still short.
A short break near Ahmednagar or Sangamner, depending on the route the driver takes.
Drop at the temple gate or the parking area. Mobile phones, cameras and leather items are not allowed inside, so leave them in the vehicle.
Darshan at the Samadhi Mandir, then Dwarkamai where the dhuni still burns, Gurusthan under the neem tree, and Chavadi — all within the same complex and a short walk apart.
The Sansthan prasadalaya serves a simple meal at a nominal charge, or there are restaurants around the temple. Prasad and other purchases can be made at the shops along Pimpalwadi Road.
Back the way you came, about four hours with a tea stop. Drop at your original pickup address by around half past five in the evening, where the trip ends.

About thirteen and a half hours from pickup to drop, covering roughly 370 km round trip. Eight of those hours are driving and the rest is darshan, the temple complex and lunch.
Reaching Shirdi by eight means a much shorter darshan queue and a relaxed return. A later start pushes darshan into the busiest part of the day and the drop back in Pune past eight in the evening.
Usually one to two hours in the free queue on a weekday morning. Thursdays, weekends, Ram Navami, Guru Purnima and Vijayadashami are far busier and can take three hours or more. Paid aarti passes are booked separately on the Sansthan website.
Yes. It is about 70 km south of Shirdi and adds around two and a half hours, so the Pune drop moves to about eight in the evening. Ask before booking so the day is planned around it.
At the designated parking near the temple. The driver stays with the vehicle for the whole stop, so you can leave your belongings in the car and return whenever darshan finishes.
Meals, GST, aarti or paid darshan passes, pooja charges, shoe stand and cloakroom fees, prasad, personal expenses, and anything not listed under inclusions. Running beyond the agreed kilometre limit is charged separately.
