The third day gives you an unhurried Omkareshwar: darshan at both temples at midday, then an evening on the Narmada instead of a drive straight back. It also lets you return through Maheshwar, which a two-day trip has no time for.
No. The package is the car and driver for three days. You book your own hotels, one night in Ujjain and one night in Omkareshwar, and the car takes you to them. The driver's night halt charges are included.
Bhasma Aarti is the pre-dawn aarti at Mahakaleshwar, at about 4 AM. Entry is only with a pass booked in advance through the temple; we do not sell the pass. If you hold one, tell us in advance and the car will take you to the temple before dawn on Day 2.
Mostly yes, but there are steps. The ghats at Omkareshwar and Maheshwar have steps, and there are steps up to the Omkareshwar temple. The car drops you as close as it can at every stop; allow extra time with elders.

Mahakaleshwar is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and the only one that faces south. Regular darshan is free; keep about 2 hours, because the queue decides how long it takes. Afterwards walk through Mahakal Lok, the corridor of sculptures and murals beside the temple, opened in 2022.
Lunch in Ujjain at a place of your choice; the driver can suggest one. Meals are paid by you.
Three stops, each about 5 to 7 km from Mahakaleshwar. Kal Bhairav is regarded as the guardian deity of Ujjain; Mangalnath stands on the Shipra and is traditionally held to be the birthplace of Mangal (Mars); Sandipani Ashram is where, by tradition, Krishna, Balarama and Sudama studied.
Harsiddhi Mata is counted among the Shakti Peethas and is about 0.5 km from Mahakaleshwar. Its two tall lamp towers are lit in the evening.
Ram Ghat is the main ghat on the Shipra, about 1 km from Mahakaleshwar. The evening aarti is held on the ghat itself. After it the car drops you at your hotel; night in Ujjain.
Check out and leave for Omkareshwar, about 140 km and 3.5 hours via the Indore highway. Yatris who hold a Bhasma Aarti pass attend the aarti at about 4 AM first; tell us in advance and the car will take you to the temple before dawn.
The car takes you to the hotel you have booked in Omkareshwar. Leave your luggage and set out for the ghat.
The temple is on Mandhata island in the Narmada, an island said to be shaped like Om. You reach it on foot across a bridge or by boat from the ghat; the boat ticket is paid there. There are steps at the ghat and up to the temple.
Lunch in Omkareshwar at a place of your choice, then a short rest. Meals are paid by you.
Mamleshwar Temple is on the south bank, across the river from the main temple. Many Yatris hold that the Jyotirlinga darshan is complete only after both.
An unhurried evening on the ghat by the Narmada. On the hill stands the 108-foot statue of Adi Shankaracharya, the Statue of Oneness, unveiled in 2023. Night in Omkareshwar.
Check out and drive to Maheshwar, about 65 km and 1.5 hours. Your luggage stays in the car for the rest of the day.
Maheshwar is a temple town on the Narmada and was the capital of Rani Ahilyabai Holkar in the 18th century. The stone Ahilya Ghat, the Ahilyeshwar temple and the Rajrajeshwar temple are within the fort complex beside the river, a short walk apart. Keep about two and a half hours.
Lunch in Maheshwar at a place of your choice. Meals are paid by you.
Maheshwar to Indore is about 95 km, a drive of about 2.5 hours.
Khajrana Ganesh is the best-known temple in Indore, about 20 minutes from the railway station. This stop is kept only if time allows before your train or flight; tell the driver your departure time.
Drop at Indore airport, Indore Junction railway station or your hotel in Indore, where the trip ends.
