Pickup from your hotel or Ujjain Junction railway station, then straight to the Mahakaleshwar temple.
Mahakaleshwar is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and the only one that faces south. Regular darshan is free and the queue decides how long it takes; keep about two hours. Then walk through Mahakal Lok, the corridor of sculptures and murals beside the temple, opened in 2022.
About half a kilometre from Mahakaleshwar. Harsiddhi Mata is counted among the Shakti Peethas, and its two tall lamp towers are lit in the evening.
The main ghat on the Shipra, about a kilometre from Mahakaleshwar. Spend some time by the river here. The aarti on the ghat is held in the evening.
A meal stop of about an hour in the city, before the temples that are further out.
About 7 km from Mahakaleshwar. Kal Bhairav is regarded as the guardian deity of Ujjain. The car waits while you go in for darshan.
Mangalnath stands on the Shipra and is traditionally held to be the birthplace of Mangal (Mars).
By tradition this is where Krishna, Balarama and Sudama studied. It is about 5 km from Mahakaleshwar.
An old Ganesh temple on the edge of the city, and the last darshan of the day.
Drop at your hotel or Ujjain Junction railway station, where the trip ends.

Yes. Tell us when you book. Bhasma Aarti is the pre-dawn aarti at about 4 AM, so the car comes before dawn to take you to the temple, and the rest of the plan moves later. The pass itself is booked in advance through the temple; we do not sell it.
Regular darshan is free and the queue is roughly 30 minutes to 2 hours. The plan keeps about two hours here. The temple also sells a paid quick darshan called Sheeghra Darshan, which is not part of the package.
Mondays, weekends, the Shravan month and Mahashivratri. The queue at Mahakaleshwar is longer on those days, so the stops after it can run late. Ujjain also hosts the Simhastha Kumbh; the next one is in 2028.
Yes. Most temples in this plan have little climbing, and the car drops you close to each one. The part that takes longest is the queue at Mahakaleshwar.
