Most darshan points in Ujjain are free to enter. A small donation at the temple's hundi is customary; carry small-denomination notes for offerings.
Photography rules vary by site. Outside the sanctum is usually fine; inside the inner sanctum follow the same convention as the main Mahakaleshwar temple — phones in lockers, no photography. When in doubt, ask the priest at the entrance.
