How to Book a Shirdi Aarti Pass — The Full Process, Plainly

Many devotees turn up at the temple gate during aarti time and get stopped — because they don’t have a pass. Below is the straight version: when, how, how much. 🎫

🌐 Online booking

Passes are booked from the Sansthan’s official site online.sai.org.in. Booking opens 60 days in advance. Aadhaar number is asked for, and one pass per person is required.

💰 Price (current — confirm on the official site)

Kakad Aarti
~ ₹600 per person · first aarti of the day, before sunrise
Madhyana Aarti
~ ₹400 per person · the noon aarti
Dhoop Aarti
~ ₹400 per person · evening aarti
Shej Aarti
~ ₹400 per person · final aarti of the night

📱 After you book

Print the pass, or download the PDF on your phone. At the gate during aarti you have to show both the pass and a matching ID. Name and photo are verified.

⏰ When to arrive

At least 45 minutes before aarti. For Kakad Aarti, be at the gate by 3:45 AM. For Madhyana Aarti, by 11:00 AM.

🎟️ If you couldn’t book online

There is a Sansthan counter near the temple — spot passes are sometimes available, but in very small numbers. For an aarti that matters to you, always book online.

💡 Small things to know

  • Children under 12 are free, but each child needs at least one accompanying adult with a pass.
  • Each pass is valid only for that specific date and that specific aarti.
  • On Thursdays, Sundays, and festival days, passes sell out 30–45 days in advance.
No pass? You can still see the aarti.
Without a pass, you can watch the aarti from the general darshan hall. Only the seated view inside the Samadhi Mandir requires a pass.
