Goa to Shirdi in one day?
Not feasible. Even by flight, plan at least two days so darshan and rest both fit — one long travel day + one calm darshan day works well for most yatris.
Once you reach Shirdi — where to stay
After a long journey, staying close to the mandir matters most — you don’t want to be commuting for every aarti and darshan. Verified hotels within walking distance of the temple, real photos, real distance from the mandir, no hidden charges. Pay at the hotel, no advance; airport / station pickup and local cabs (for side-trips like Shani Shingnapur) can also be arranged. You can talk in Marathi or Hindi on the phone.
Flight fares from Goa move sharply with season and lead time — book earlier for the Hyderabad-connecting route. Trains fill up fast during Guru Purnima and long weekends; go for AC sleeper on the 20-hour ride.
