Most Yatris arriving in Shirdi want two things from their hotel: close to Sai Baba mandir, and easy on the wallet. The good news — there are plenty of affordable rooms inside the 500-metre walking radius around the temple. The trick is knowing what to check before you book, and what time of week (and year) the same room costs twice as much.
📍 Why stay near the temple
The biggest gain from staying close is the back-and-forth disappears. Whether it’s Kakad aarti at dawn or Shej aarti at night, a walkable hotel means no auto-haggling, no parking scramble, and an actual break between sessions. With or small children the walking radius matters even more. Try for a hotel within 500 m of the mandir.
